Relaxing At The Beach by Brian Paterson is from the story Foxwood Tales

"It's good to relax when you've finished a job," said Mr Gruffey, happily.

This is one of a number of paintings Brian Paterson produced for his book series about the village of Foxwood featuring Harvey Mouse, Willy the Hedgehog and Rue Rabbit. Living in Henley on Thames Brain painted whilst his wife Cynthia wrote and together they conceived eight Foxwood books which have become modern classics. This image appeared in The Foxwood Smugglers by Brian Paterson, Cynthia Paterson.
